Warranties & Guarantees

Manufacturer
Warranties

The boilers we fit come with a 5, 10 or 12 year warranty.
We are a max accredited installer meaning we get access to the higher levels of warranty available and all of our boiler installs are fit with a magnetic filter on the heating system and a limescale inhibitor on the cold pipe to preserve your new boiler.

We register your boiler so the warranty is valid from the day of installation. The boiler must be annually serviced for this warranty to be valid. We send you a reminder text, email and make a phone call to you to get the annual service booked in. We also run a service plan which covers your service and a few other bits from £5.99 per month.
We find this is the best option, as if people are paying for a service, they make sure they don't forget about it.

Once the boiler is installed we also register it with our governing body Gas safe. You will receive a building compliance certificate. This shows the boiler has been installed by a registered company. If you ever sell your house you will need this certificate. We will send you a copy and also have access to it if you need it.

Show up Guarantee

There seems to be a lot of tradespeople that don't turn up when they say they will and may not even let you know leaving you sat waiting not knowing what's going on. That's not how we do business...
Once we have booked your boiler installation. We guarantee that we will turn up on the day we have booked. If we do not, we will give you a discount of £50. This is our ‘show up guarantee'.

Useful install information

We start work at 08:00 most days and finish around 17:00. We take a 30 minute lunch break around 12:00. Materials are usually delivered by our suppliers. If the job is a 2 or 3 day job we find we may take a few trips to the merchants to pick up materials.

A straight swap combi or heat only boiler will take 1 full day. A powerflush will take a full day.
A system change with tanks, cylinder and old boiler to combi boiler will take around 2-3 days altogether. If you are having radiators it may take 4 days or we get an extra body on site to get the job done in 3 days. It’s a fine balance of getting enough men on site and not being too overcrowded.

Rather than rush the job, we would rather take our time and get it right first time.

A combi boiler installation will usually involve us sending 1-2 plumbers.
A system change will generally have 2-3 plumbers on site.
If we are doing a powerflush it will usually be just one person.

Although rare, increases and decreases in pressure involved with changing heating systems can highlight weaknesses on existing pipework and may cause leaks. No responsibility can be taken for the existing heating or domestic plumbing system. We can look at repairing these while on site but this may incur additional costs.

Disclaimers:

If you require additional work to be carried out which is not stated above, this will be treated as a separate job and priced separately to the boiler quote.

This quote does not include any building work unless quoted.

We will try and match the existing exterior brickwork the best we can but are limited by the availability of materials.

No responsibility can be taken for the existing heating or domestic plumbing system. There may be increasing or decreasing pressures in pipework with new boilers being installed which may reveal weaknesses in the system and cause leaks. We will repair these as they arise but this may incur additional costs as we cannot factor these into our quote.

Aftercare and boiler inspection

After the boiler has been installed, a visit will be arranged to inspect the installation by a supervisor.
We will make sure the boiler has been fitted to our rigorous high standards and that you understand the controls and get all the benefits out of the new boiler.
